Next Stop Beijing

The last 3 days have been a blur! We, the other 15 teachers going on the trip to China and I, have been bombarded with information on Chinese history, cultural perspectives, etiquette, food, the Mandarin language, and more.  We have shared our hopes and goals of what we wish to get out of the experience and how this will impact our students upon our return. And, of course, we have had many laughs as we have just begun to get to know one another.

I am sitting at the gate waiting to board the 13 hour flight from San Francisco to Beijing. I have never seen a "double decker" plane before...way cool!
