Recycled Computer Art

Artist Marion Martinez came to visit the Folk Art CRIZMAC group for a studio workshop.  She creates beautiful sculptures out of recycled computer parts.  She has been working in this medium since the 1980's and a lot of the imagery she addresses in her artwork is connected to her Latin heritage.
Sacred Heart by Marion Martinez

All of the teachers swarming around the computer parts to pick out items to use in their artwork

Trina posing with her cowboy boot sculpture she created

Missy's "playful" earrings she made (all computer parts mind you!)

Karen's skeleton

My pieces.  I made three figures and two pendants
